In the early hours of tomorrow morning I am scheduled to have my first colonoscopy. A procedure that I should have had years ago. I am sure most of you know that the night before a colonoscopy you have to prepare yourself. You know what I mean. Now, I have had several folks tell me some horror stories about their experiences. I am never fearful, but tonight I was really kind of scared of how this stuff was going to affect me. Soon after I started I noticed something. This is not a pleasant experience by any means, but it certainly isn't something dreadful that is worthy of fear. No matter what we face God is there to see us through it. I can't believe I am going to share this next part, but you all are family. Last Saturday, I wanted to take Sammy to a park with a creek so he could play in the water. For those of you that don't know Sammy is my dog. We got to the park and the creek was far off and I really had to go to the bathroom. There was a gym and I saw cars there for staff so I headed there as fast as I could. However, the doors were locked. So I high tailed it to the baseball filed where I just prayed there was a bathroom. The pressure was pretty intense by this time. The building was shaped oddly and had more than 4 sides so I would turn the corner and nothing. Finally, I turned another corner and could wait no more. That's right I had started to go! Guess what it was right as I had made it to the bathroom. I raced to the stall already a mess and got relief. However, I had left a trail of evidence behind me and I myself was well you know. Of course, I began to pray for God to get me through this horrible ordeal. To not let anyone come in and see me like that. It was probably 20 to 30 minutes before I was ready to venture out and see what messes I had made that I needed to clean up. Long story short I was able to do a pretty good job of getting everything clean including myself enough to at least get home and even though I had heard kids outside talking no one came in that bathroom the whole time. So I, until now was the only one who knew. God definitely saw me through that ordeal. He has gotten me through so much and never once has he let me down. So why was I listening to other people about this laxative? Jesus has proved himself over and over that no matter what comes my way he will NEVER leave me or forsake me and my friend he will do no less for you.! We REALLY can live without fear! Faith is the KEY! Jesus Loves You!
