Health Scare

I awoke yesterday feeling rather well actually. I had big plans! I was going to mop my floor, which for me to be able to do is huge. I was going to finish Super Nangy and then I was going to go to. my first ever football game to the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers. However, none of that was to be! You see in the first week of July (Yes, right after the war) I took the trip of a lifetime. I went to the Holy Land! I actually went inside the tomb where he was laid, but that's a story for another day. Trust me, we will get there. I have so many things to share! First, let me tell you that I am a diabetic and we have problems with our feet. Although the only issue I had had was neuropathy. Second, exactly one year prior to the trip I was in a hospital bed unable to even roll over let alone stand. So walking 14-15,000 steps a day on 2000+plus year old uneven streets caused a huge avulsion (Sore) on my heel.  It was down to the bone. Stupidly, I thought I could treat it myself and it had been healing. Until yesterday, I went to clean it and it had turned blue. I wasn't too worried until people on facebook put it in perspective. This is what causes diabetics to have to have feet amputated! I will be honest. I started to feel anxiety. I tried to have faith, but it was hard. This is just like the enemy! I ended up going to the ER and they did a CT Scan. I am still waiting to hear back from those. I don't know what I am facing, but one thing I do know that man that had been in that tomb and is no longer there. He is with me every step of my way. He will not leave me nor forsake me. This I know.

P.S. I did finish Super Nangy!
