Miracles in the Midst of Struggle!

Many of you don’t know me or my story—at least not yet. In 2024, I spent most of the year in the hospital. During that time, I actually died twice. That’s a story for another day.

The reason for my hospitalization was that my CO₂ levels kept rising while my oxygen levels dropped. I slipped into several comas, and by early June, I was at my lowest point. I had just come out of a coma, experienced my near-death moments, and it is truly a miracle that I’m still here today!

When the Mind Plays Tricks

As I began to wake up, my mind was in chaos. I saw and heard things that felt so real, yet so disturbing.

Nurses attacking elderly patients.

A jealous boyfriend roaming the halls with a knife.

Children of nurses playing ball in the corridors.

Strange, unexplained lights that left me bewildered.

satan had me almost convinced I was crazy.

The doctors were already discussing putting me in a nursing home, so I dared not tell anyone what I was experiencing. To this day I still thought I had went insane.

An Unexpected Answer

Then, just yesterday, during a routine colonoscopy, God gave me clarity. As the nurse—a sweet lady named Sherry—asked about my medical history, I carefully shared what I’d gone through, leaving out the “hallucinations.”

Out of nowhere, she said:

“You know, when your CO₂ levels rise, you can start seeing and hearing things.”

I didn’t know that! For over a year, I carried the weight of thinking something was seriously wrong with me. In that moment, tears nearly filled my eyes. What a relief to finally understand it wasn’t madness—it was a normal response to my condition.

God Still Speaks

Sherry had no idea the peace she spoke into my life that day, but God knew. He used her words to lift a burden I had carried for so long. That, my friends, is a miracle.

There are miracles all around us, if we will only stop and recognize them. God is always at work. He speaks, comforts, and heals in ways we may not expect.

So I encourage you: Listen for Him. Look for Him. Seek His wisdom, His guidance, and His healing. Pay attention—miracles surround you every single day!

And always remember this: Jesus loves you.
