Do You See People as Eternal Souls?
When you look at people—family, friends, neighbors, even strangers—what do you see? Do you see eternal souls who will one day step into eternity—either into Heaven with God or into Hell without Him? Or do you just see faces passing by?
This is a hard but necessary question, because the way we answer reveals how deeply we take to heart the mission Christ gave us:
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” —Mark 16:15 (KJV)
The Importance of Sharing the Gospel
God has done everything for us. He gave His Son. He saved us when we could not save ourselves. He promises eternal life and daily grace. In light of that, what are we doing for Him?
Sharing the Gospel is not an optional hobby—it is a command, a calling, and the greatest act of love we can give to someone else. If we believe eternity is real, how can we stay silent?
A Simple Act with Eternal Impact
For months I have begged people to join me in something simple: posting “Jesus Loves You” once a day on their social media. Tens of thousands have seen this message, but only a couple dozen people have joined in. Why so few?
It’s not about me. It’s about Him. It’s about letting the world know that the God of the universe loves them more than they can imagine. Something so small can ripple across the world and reach a heart at just the right moment.
Where Do You Stand with the Lord?
Your answers to these questions say much about your walk with God:
- How important is sharing the Gospel to you?
- Do you see others as eternal souls?
- What are you doing for God, who has done so much for you?
This isn’t meant to shame you, but to awaken you. To stir your heart. To remind you that we have been given a gift that demands to be shared.
“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” —Matthew 9:37 (KJV)
Friend, the time is short. Souls are eternal. And the Gospel is still the power of God unto salvation.
Will you join me in sharing—even in the smallest of ways—that Jesus loves you?
